Yuko Okamoto
Born and raised in Miyagi, Japan, she studied piano at an early age with Yamaha Music School.
Yuko is quickly becoming a prominent and highly sought-after musician within the music industry. Her natural talent as a pianist and her mature musicality as a composer are quickly gaining attention, especially on the New York music scene. Her own band was chosen semi finalist of Bucharest international jazz competition 2011.

Jazz Pianist Yuko Okamoto is from Miyagi, Japan, where was most severely damaged by gigantic tsunami and earthquake on March 11 2011. Yuko and her group made a charity concert in NY, on April 3rd 2011. "what i can do for them is play music." Hopefully many people will listen her brilliant music and support her passion to save her hometown.
